Hi-Shule

Hi Shule is a Uganda-based EdTech venture focused on transforming STEM education in underserved secondary schools through offline-first digital learning technologies. The venture addresses longstanding systemic barriers within science education, including inadequate laboratory infrastructure, limited teaching resources, overcrowded classrooms, and restricted access to digital learning technologies.

Hi Shule delivers animated STEM content, AI-powered assessments, offline digital learning platforms, and integrated hardware solutions through its Smart Shule Box ecosystem. By combining pedagogy-driven content with accessible technology, the venture enables schools with limited connectivity and infrastructure to adopt modern and effective science learning methods.

The Smart Shule Box allows schools to access educational content and assessments without depending on continuous internet connectivity, making it highly relevant for rural and low-resource environments. The venture’s approach focuses on improving conceptual understanding, learner engagement, and practical STEM competencies while supporting teachers with structured and interactive digital resources. Hi Shule has already demonstrated strong early traction, reaching over 70 schools, supporting more than 350 teachers, and impacting approximately 40,000-50,000 learners across Uganda.

Continuous product iteration through real classroom deployments and feedback loops has enabled the venture to refine its technology and improve learning effectiveness. With its strong emphasis on accessibility, practical STEM learning, and scalable offline-first infrastructure, Hi Shule is positioning itself as a leading contributor to improving science education outcomes and digital learning access within Uganda’s secondary education system.
